This is a well written fantasy tale that takes you to another world. It is a tale of a young boy and the wizard if world. It has well developed side characters, and no plot holes. I really loved this book.

The Penderwicks is a humorous tale about four sisters trying to live life without a mothers things were going great until their father begins dating again. The sisters set him up wither really bad blind dates to keel from having a stepmother, who they assume would be wicked and horrible. Little do they know that the answer to their problems had moved in next door! This book is cheerful and funny, with well developed characters and a continuing plot line. I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to 4-8 graders.
